I broke up with her (i.e. ex-partner of Benjamin) at that time. But she threatened me with the [intimate] video. If I didn’t get back to her, she would spread the video, to ruin my life … So I still feel frightened, even though five years have passed…. Talking about the moment when she secretly filmed me. She initially wanted to keep a record of something that can be used to threaten me … She would rather destroy a thing if she couldn’t have it. So she was threatening me for us getting back together.

I had reported my case to the police and yet, got rejected. I felt nothing but helpless. I was threatened by someone with a video, but the police told me I couldn’t make a report and refused to initiate any investigation. I really had no idea what to do. The police officers simply advised me to handle the incident on my own. I was perplexed and felt powerless … Even though five years have passed, I still feel scared.
